Product Description : A balm with the right formula to strike fear in the hearts of biting insects. Meets EPA minimum risk exempt regulations. Ingredients include Citronella oil, Cedar oil, Lemongrass, Rosemary oil, Geranium oil. I love to go to warm places with lots of bitting bugs, plus I kayak like crazy during the summer months here in NJ. I can say without a doubt that it really does work. I have a friend who gets bit when there are not bugs it seems and it has worked on her. I keep a small tin with me when I travel or when I kayak. I just purchased the stick - will see how that works out. All I can say is that it is easy to carry, easy to use and does work for me! I bought this to send to relatives in sticky and mosquito mecca Houston, Texas. I had heard great things about it- that travelers and explorers alike swore by its ability to fend off all those flying pesky bugs. I thought it might help to ward off the West Nile mosquitoes that are prevalent in the area but I had no idea how great it would actually work. My whole family down South now swears by it. No harsh chemicals and it does not stain your clothes like some chemical based repellents do and best of all (did I mention?) the stuff really works! No mosquito bites even in heavily infested areas. Enjoy the outdoors again and if you work outdoors this is a must. This product, purchased at Sunflower Market did not work at all for me. I used it while fly fishing in Boulder, Colorado, an area not usually known for mosquitos. It simply did not work. It was effective for the first five minutes. After that the mosquitos were biting even the palms of my hands. I'm going back to 100 percent deet. Congrats to all those folks for whom this works. It might be particular to certain skin types...and just not for me.
